Music blasts through the speakers
My mouth stumbling over the lyrics
Hands on the wheel,
Running on empty
Somehow feeling light as the air
That rushes through the window
But heavy as the tar
That paints the road.
A limitless girl
Meeting an endless world;
I have never felt so alive.
Glancing at the dash,
My foot presses the gas
Feeling the world dissolve around me
As the needle inches into red.
